Nature Park & Shelter Reservations

Due to the increase in cases of COVID-19 throughout the region, and in the interest of the health and safety of our community, the City of Florence has decided to pause all reservations and rentals until further notice.

Nature Park Event Center

Located within the heart of the Florence Nature Park, surrounded by soaring trees and wildlife, is the stunning new Event Center.  This unique nature setting provides guests with a venue capable of hosting weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, and a variety of social events. 




The Event Center accommodates:
-135 guests for a corporate or cocktail style event
-100 guests for a seated wedding or dinner event
-135 guests for a seated, outdoor lawn corporate or wedding event 
-118 parking lot spaces





This versatile Event Center meets a demand in the community and will quickly become known for its lofty ceilings, stone facade and craftsman Kentucky feel.  Please call the Event Center at 859-647-5425 and speak with Victoria, the City Events Consultant for more information.





Evelyn M. Kalb Gathering House

Located adjacent from the Nature Park Event Center is the  Evelyn M. Kalb Gathering House.
Renovated in 2018,  the Gathering House includes a new wood beam ceiling, tile flooring, windows, relocated and renovated bathrooms, and an expanded and remodeled kitchen area.  The exterior includes a new deck, roof, siding, sidewalks reconstruction of exterior bathrooms and landscaping.  You may contact the City Events Consultant at 859-647-5425 for information.
