Structure Fire 8512 Old Toll Road
On November 2, 2011 Florence Fire/EMS Department responded to a reported structure fire at 8512 Old Toll Road. Initial reports indicated this was a vacant building but that there may have been two homeless persons occupying the structure. Upon arrival units found a fully involved single family dwelling. Firefighters determined that all occupants had escaped and were accounted for, one of whom was treated for burn injuries. The fire was quickly brought under control with the assistance of Union Emergency Services Alliance. The structure was later demolished that same day.
