Public Education

The key to preventing fires as well as injuries is through education.  Florence Fire/EMS Department conducts numerous Public Education events throughout the year in an effort to not only reduce the occurrence of fires, but to also decrease injuries to the citizens we protect. 

Annually Florence Fire/EMS Department programs result in contact with approximately 4,000 citizens, nearly two thirds of which are the children in our schools and daycares.
