 Want to learn more about the Florence Police Department? The Florence Police Department is currently accepting applications for the spring session of the Citizen's Police Academy which will run March 7th – April 25th. Classes are held on Wednesday nights from 630-930pm. The Citizen’s Police Academy is a great opportunity for members of the community to see how the Florence Police Department and its various specialty units respond to and prevent crime as well as generally assist those in need. Applications are due by February 21st.  Contact Officer Adam Argullin at 859-647-5420 with questions.

The Florence Police Department’s Easter Egg Hunt will be held March 31 at UC Health Stadium on Freedom Way. The event is sponsored by the Florence Police Department in conjunction with the Florence Freedom. Various vendors will be there as well as costumed characters. The gates open will at 10:00 am and the egg hunt will begin promptly at 11:00 am for the following age groups:
     0-3 years old – parents permitted to be on the field
     4-6 years old – please no parents on the field
     7-9 years old – please no parents on the field
Children will need to provide their own basket. The event is free of charge.
