Florence Fire/EMS is happy to announce that we have received 8 child booster seats from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. In turn we will provide Evenflo AMP No-Back booster seats to residents of the City of Florence & Florence Fire Protection District.
House Bill 315 was signed into law by Governor Beshear amending KRS 189.125 effective June 24th. The Statute requires any driver, when transporting a child under the age of 8 years old who is between 40 and 57 inches (previously under the age of 7 between 40 and 50 inches), shall have the child properly secured in a child booster seat.
Due to the limited number of booster seats available, they will be provided on a 1st come, 1st served basis. Your child must meet the requirements listed above as well as be at least 4 years of age. Limit one per household.
Contact Florence Fire/EMS at (859) 647-5660 to schedule a time to receive your booster seat.

Applicants must reside in Boone County and/or within 10 road miles of the Florence Fire/EMS jurisdiction.
