NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

  
Florence Freedom Deck Enclosure

The City of Florence will receive bids Friday, February 7, 2014, at 9:30 a.m.  local time at the Florence Government Center, 8100 Ewing Boulevard, Florence, KY 41042 for the Florence Freedom Ballpark Deck Enclosure Improvements.  This project is to include furnishing, supplying of all materials and performing all labor necessary to construct a glass enclosure on the second story deck of the main entrance to the building. Bids submitted for this project shall include all material, labor, equipment and installation required to complete all element(s).  Each sealed bid shall be accompanied by either a cashier’s check or satisfactory bid bond, in a sum, which is not less than five (5%) percent of the aggregate amount of the bid, payable to the City of Florence.  Successful bidder will be required to execute and to provide construction contract security in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the bid.  All bids must be made on the required Bid Form.  Two completed copies of the Bid Form are required.  Plans, specifications and the official bid form will be made available Thursday, January 23, 2014 and may be obtained from the office of the Florence Public Service Department located at the Florence Government Center, 8100 Ewing Boulevard, Florence, KY  41042 or at the office of Hub & Weber located at 200 W Pike St, Covington, KY 41011.  The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
 
*A voluntary pre-bid meeting will be held at Florence Freedom Ballpark (7950 Freedom Way, Florence, KY 41042)at 1:30 pm on Friday, January 31, 2014. 
 

Material Bids

The City of Florence will receive bids Friday, February 7th, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.  local time at the Florence Government Center, 8100 Ewing Boulevard, Florence, KY 41042.  Bidders may bid on one or more of the following: AGGREGATES, ASPHALT CONCRETE, CRACKSEAL MATERIAL, CONCRETE, DIESEL FUEL, GASOLINE, VEHICULAR PARTS AND FLUIDS, SANITARY SEWER MANHOLE FRAMES & LIDS AND MISCELLANEOUS SUPPLIES, SIGN MATERIALS, WATER METERS, WATERLINE SUPPLIES, ADA WARNING SURFACES, AND MISCELLANEOUS SAFETY ITEMS for a twelve month period beginning on March 1, 2014.  Bid instructions and specifications will be made available at the Public Service Department located within the Florence Government Center, 8100 Ewing Boulevard, Florence, KY  41042 on January 17, 2014.  The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
